Gallagher brothers fans are upset with Liam after he made a controversial comment about the Oasis tour’s dynamic ticket prices at a live show, which left many of those in the audience feeling sour
Oasis fans are angry with Liam Gallagher.
The Gallagher brother taunted the crowd at Oasis’ first reunion gig at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, as a clip shared online showed him saying: “You having a good time, yeah? Is it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?”
Over on X/Twitter, fans flocked to comment on the musician’s controversial quip as one person said: “Yeah. Hilarious. Ripping the fans off.”
Another wrote: “And there you have it, as far as Oasis are concerned ripping off their fans with b******* ticket prices is just a joke.”
Someone else said that the siblings have “become everything they used to despise”.
“Just sing and don’t gloat,” urged another Oasis fan while someone else said that Liam’s question was “really distasteful”.
The group announced their UK tour in August 2024 and confirmed that a standing ticket would be £150, but Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model meant that prices increased substantially.
Fans can also expect to shell out a small fortune for drinks at the Cardiff venue as supporters flock to the Welsh capital to watch the Britpop band for the first time since 2009.
Based on recent gig and rugby match prices at the Principality Stadium, Oasis fans will be paying a hefty £7.80 for a pint of lager as the tour gets underway.
However fans can choose to purchase a four-pint jug for £31, although this will only bring each pint down by a 5p.
Oasis fans are predicted to purchase a jaw-dropping 8,667,600 pints during the tour, with 2,219,458 of those pints likely to be thrown in the air.
