Oasis fans pay jaw-dropping price for alcohol and mega four-pint jug deal

Oasis fans will be charged a staggering amount for a pint in Cardiff this weekend, as they flock to the Welsh capital to see the band’s first gig since 2009

Oasis fans can expect to pay a pretty penny for a pint at the band’s reunion tour.

The staggering cost of a drink has been unveiled, with fans predicted to splurge a small fortune on fags and booze over the weekend.

Based on recent gig and rugby match prices at the Principality Stadium, Oasis devotees will be forking out a hefty £7.80 for a pint of lager as the eagerly anticipated tour gets underway tonight and continues into Saturday night.

Alternatively, they can choose a four-pint jug for £31 when Noel and Liam take to the stage for two nights in the Welsh capital – which brings each pint down by a mere 5p.

There are local pubs around the stadium offering more affordable beverages before fans make their way inside. The Prince Of Wales, a Wetherspoon’s pub, is conveniently located within walking distance of the venue.

Some dedicated fans have been queuing overnight to see Oasis and their patience has been rewarded with ticket upgrades to VIP status.

Support act Cast kicked things off at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm, with Oasis hitting the stage at 8.15pm. Oasis followers are projected to purchase a whopping 8,667,600 pints during the tour, with 2,219,458 of those pints likely to be flung in the air in jubilation.
