Olly Murs has been touring the country performing for loyal fans, but one recent gig saw the crowd boo him while on stage as he made a wild confession that left concertgoers jeering
Olly Murs’ own fans booed him while watching him perform.
Liverpool Echo revealed that during a concert for his 15 Years of Hits Tour, the former X Factor star let his band “embarrass” him on stage by sharing a photo with the crowd.
He informed fans: “On this part of the show, I have absolutely no idea what is about to appear on that screen.”
Murs laughed as he realised his band had chosen a picture of him touching the This Is Anfield sign at Liverpool FC. The crowd were divided as Liverpool FC fans cheered, while opposition supporters let boos ring out through the M&S Bank Arena.
However, Olly’s next bombshell left them all stunned: “Of course, this will probably get the biggest boo of the night. I am a Manchester United fan.” He was faced with more jeers as he smiled and asked: “Shall I go?”
Recently Olly’s wife Amelia took to social media to defend her husband from bodyshamers after he proudly showed off the physical results from working out.
Amelia took to Instagram Stories to slam the comments he’d received: “Wow, I didn’t release body shaming was still a thing in 2025 and at this public level?!”
“My gosh could you IMAGINE if this headline belonged to a female. But no, my husband’s got to just take this one on the chin.”
Her rage continued: “How dare you get so fit for your tour, so that you can give your fans the best show, be full of energy and a true showman.”
Amelia went on to say she adores Olly regardless of his physique, but will “forever celebrate” his commitment. She rounded off with: “You’re in such a great place mentally as well as physically so don’t let this garbage rain on your parade.”
