The Real Housewives star Teddi Mellencamp has shared a harrowing update on social media as she lets her followers know that her tumours have spread across her body and into her lung
The Real Housewives star Teddi Mellencamp has delivered some devastating news to her fans.
The TV star, 43, has shared an update from her scans today after she received some sad news that her tumours had spread across to her lung. However, the beauty revealed she is “staying strong” and feels “hopeful” about her future.
She wrote online: “Update from my scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma.
“The doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy will effectively treat them. I am feeling positive— that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina’s kids’ names.”
Before she concluded: “Now, as @bravoandy would say: with all due… f*** off, cancer!”
Friends and fans flooded the comment section to support the TV personality, including her RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards commented underneath: “The best moment! Right after your surgery when you weren’t quite sure what year it was and I said “but I bet she can name all of Angelina Jolie’s kids names” and you did.”
One fan posted: “23 years cancer free from stage 4 melanoma. I had a brain tumor and 2 lung tumors. Immunotherapy and radiation. I was in a clinical trial. Stay strong!”
A second added: “You are the strongest person! Only you would have brain surgery one week and be jogging on a treadmill the next. You are ready to fight! And I love the wig.”
While a third penned: “You got this Teddi! You’re stronger than you realize. I know you’ll win! You’re a fighter, keep fighting… you have a lot of love and support.”
