RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente has died.
The 44-year-old, real name Bianca Castro, recently had her right leg amputated after a “severe infection”.
News of the star’s death was announced on Instagram by her family, who wrote: “Private statement from the family of Bianca Castro (Jiggly Caliente).”
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arebejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente. Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.”
“A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity.”

“She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world.”
The touching tribute continued on to say that her “legacy is of love, courage and light” and even though her “physical presence is gone,” the joy she spread “will remain forever”.
Bianca’s loved ones said that she “will be deeply missed, always loved and eternally remembered”.

They signed off with: “In Loving Memory of Bianca Castro-Arebejo (Jiggly Caliente) November 29, 1980 – April 27, 2025.”
Jiggly’s fans were devastated to hear the news and quickly rushed to pay their respects. Someone said that they “hope she is at peace now” while another said Bianca “lit up every room”.
