Sam Thompson may have found love again with a Love Island star after his shock split from Zara McDermott, who is now dating One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson
Sam Thompson is looking to bounce back following his separation from Zara McDermott and seems to have struck a chord with another reality TV star, Love Island alum, Samie Elishi.
The Made In Chelsea favourite, 32, has been seen sharing flirty messages with the brunette beauty after they hit it off on Instagram.
Following the end of his five-year romance with Zara, 28, in December, whispers suggest that Samie, 25, is playing her part in cheering Sam up. Samie was initially part of the 2023 Love Island cast, before she returned for a memorable stint in the All Stars series this year.
An insider said: “Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard but Samie has put a smile back on his face. She is a stunning girl and he’s told a few pals about her. He seems excited. Obviously it’s early days, but clearly he has a thing for Love Islanders.”
Zara isn’t hanging about either as she is cosying up to One Direction icon Louis Tomlinson, 33. The fresh couple have been spotted together for several weeks now, with close sources hinting they believe it’s a match made to last.
Zara is said to have already met Louis’ folks and is being a supportive shoulder as he mourns the loss of his best mate Liam Payne since they started seeing each other.
Sam’s best mate, Pete Wicks, is totally on board with Zara McDermott’s new fling with the pop star Louis Tomlinson. In his KISS Breakfast show with Olivia Attwood, Pete couldn’t help but gush about the blossoming love.
With his inside scoop, Pete said: “I know them, I have a sight connection there and you know, I’m happy, I’m happy for them.
“That’s amazing, I’ve seen the pictures they’re walking through a car park, really romantic… I’m really struggling not to say anything but it is good gossip. I might tell you some more off air.”
Pete’s comments came after Zara and Louis were papped having a ball at a Stereophonics gig, cleverly avoiding snapping each other.
Zara then “soft launched” the relationship when she posted a picture of their breakfast date in Malibu, with Louis’ tattooed arm made an appearance.
Zara and Louis were spotted on a beachside smooch fest at Soho Beach House in Malibu, locking hands and looking all loved-up, chattering and giggling like nobody’s watching.
The loved-up duo’s affectionate outing follows hot on the heels of their first snug date night spotted at a swanky Suffolk hotel eatery just a month prior.
Sam, so far, has kept quiet about Zara and Louis’ budding romance but did drop a mysterious remark a while ago: “People look for validation in others to fill that hole”, hinting it’s something he reckons he ‘can’t do’.
