Former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn has revealed her new job, which she’s branded as “terrifying,” after she was previously left the soap due to her racy adult content sharing profile

Sarah Jayne Dunn has revealed her new job after being axed from Hollyoaks.

The former soap actress played Mandy Richardson from 1996 to 2021, but left the show after problems arose when she began sharing adult snaps on a content sharing website. Now, SJD has announced that she will be teaching her first ever pole dancing class.

She took to Instagram to share the exciting news and told her followers: “I’m excited and terrified in equal measure… because very soon, I’ll be stepping into a whole new challenge- teaching my first beginners’ pole class!”

“Pole has been a huge part of my life for over two years now. I first found it just after lockdown, a little before turning 41, when I was looking for something fun, but challenging.”

Sarah Jayne is now pursuing a career in teaching pole dancing

Dunn explained that “from the very first spin she was hooked” and began her pole dancing career “as a way to move and push herself”. Now, thanks to her new skill, Sarah has gained “strength, confidence and a whole new community of incredible, supportive people”.

The former actress said: “I’ve recently started 1:1 training with a new pole coach, and I can already feel myself improving in ways I never expected.”

“Pole is as tough as it is beautiful, what looks effortless takes an insane amount of strength, control, and resilience. But that’s what I love about it. Every move mastered feels like a little victory, and there’s always a new challenge to take on.”
