Rocker Sir Rod Stewart has blasted his old pal Donald Trump and no longer goes to his glitzy parties.

The outspoken Maggie May singer laid into the Orange Manbaby saying he is fuelling the “annihilation” of Palestinians and also hit out at the President’s treatment of women.

He used to love hanging out with the US leader because he’s a “man’s man” but claims he’s “become another guy” since re-entering the White House.

Sir Rod, who is neighbours with the President in Florida, told Radio Times magazine: “I’m not a great fan of Trump. I knew him very, very well. I used to go to his house.

“I live literally half a mile away. We’re both on the beach. I used to go to his Christmas parties. He’s always been a bit of a man’s man. I liked him for that. But he didn’t, as far as I’m concerned, treat women very well. But since he became President, he became another guy. Somebody I didn’t know.”

Sir Rod no longer counts him as a buddy, adding: “No, I can’t any more. As long as he’s selling arms to the Israelis – and he still is. How’s that war ever gonna stop?”

But the music legend refrains from bashing his former friend on stage in the US after it backfired at one show.

Mischievous Sir Rod said: “I had a little joke about him when he had all the tan, you know, the Orange Man. And: ‘Boooo!’”

The 80-year-old Scot will play Glastonbury’s famous legends slot this year – but the privilege will cost him a staggering £300,000.

He is jetting his 12-piece band over from America for the festival, and will only receive £125,000 from the organisers meaning the show will leave him at a loss.

The icon has already revealed his former Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood will join him on stage.

He added: “It’ll be glamorous, it’ll be sexy.

“And we’ve got a little orchestra coming on to play with us.

“And we may have some bagpipes…”

Sir Rod also revealed how always books a second hotel room for his toy train model making sets when touring and continues to guzzle booze aged 80, relying on a medicinal “gargle of rum and coke” before each gig.
