Peter-Henry Schroeder, known for his roles in Star Trek and the Oscar-winning film Argo, has sadly passed away at the age of 90. The actor, who played a Klingon in Star Trek: Enterprise and served as a producer for Argo, died surrounded by loved ones at Lake City VA Medical Center in Florida on June 7th.
In his last days, Peter would often ask his family: “When are you going to get me out of here? I’ve got to get back to LA [for work].”
After serving in the US Army during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955, he pursued a career in acting and singing, releasing singles such as Where’s the Girl for Me and Memories of Marilyn.
He shared screen time with Meryl Streep in The Seduction of Joe Tynan and made an appearance in a 1989 episode of Cheers. His most recent acting gig was in the 2020 film Sammy-Gate, where he portrayed Santo Trafficante.

His funeral, complete with Military Honours, will be held in Los Angeles, where he will be interred at the VA National Cemetery. The family have requested that instead of flowers, condolences be expressed through the Human Animal Life Foundation, reports the Express.
Peter leaves behind his daughter Valerie and son Peter Henry Schroeder II, along with his daughter-in-law Felicia Cristiani Bass. He is also survived by his two grandsons – Peter III and Jarrid.
The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Tributes have been flooding in for the late Hollywood star, with the Star Trek fan page Redshirts Always Die penning: “Our thoughts are with Schroeder’s family and loved ones.”
A heartbroken fan took to Twitter, posting with a tearful emoji: “Peter-Henry Schroeder, a veteran character actor best known to Star Trek fans for his role in Star Trek: Enterprise, Peter-Henry as Gunslinger, has died at the age of 90.”
