EXCLUSIVE: The Only Way Is Essex star Frankie Sims spoke exclusively to Daily Star about her brand her project with an unexpected link to her past she never saw coming
TOWIE star Frankie Sims’ new venture is a match made in heaven.
Reality TV icon Frankie recently celebrated her 30th birthday and recently teamed up with restaurant chain Frankie and Benny’s, which is also fast approaching its third decade.
She told Daily Star: “So I used to go to Frankie and Benny’s growing up for my birthdays, with my friends, and obviously my name is in the name! New York Italian food is my favourite cuisine. I feel like I learned that growing up from going to Frankie and Benny’s.”
“It just felt like a 360 moment when they reached out. It was so funny, they gave us the location and it was the Romford location – the exact restaurant I grew up going to with all my friends!”
Frankie reminisced on walking back into the branch for the first time and even sat in the same booth she used to visit with her pals all those years ago.
“It was so crazy, it was such a wholesome day. It was really nice. Obviously they said I could bring my boyfriend Billy as well and I could show him where I used to eat when I was growing up.”
Frankie met resident chef Benny at Frankie & Benny’s Romford and the namesake duo created a brand-new menu, complete with her favourite Mac Daddy Burger, filled with bacon, andmacaroni cheese, along with a Freakshake Sundae dessert loaded with Oreo cookie ice cream, mini sugared donuts, cream and chocolate sauce.
Frankie said: “As I celebrate turning 30, I can honestly say I’ve never been this in love and there is no date night I love more than a foody one, where I get to enjoy all my favourite dishes.”
