Remember Monday brushed off their dismal result at Eurovision by partying until 3am.

After finishing 19th in Saturday’s contest in Basel, Switzerland, losing out to winning country Austria, the trio headed to the city’s party district. Their night out included a stop at popular haunt The Pub until during early hours.

A source close to the band said: “They didn’t let the result stop them having a good night. They stayed out until very late. Their friends were draped in UK flags and they mingled with fans. They made the most of the night.”

Remember Monday scored well with the juries but got no points from viewers in a major snub.

Speaking about the result for the first time, they said: “Three best mates walked onto the world’s biggest music stage and came out with a top 10 jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime.

“Performing at Eurovision was one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives.

“The love we’ve felt from fans, our incredible team, and everyone who streamed, voted, and believed in us has been overwhelming.”

Despite flopping at Eurovision, the girls are still set for big success.

It has emerged they have signed a deal worth more than £1million with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record label.

They plan to release new music within months.

The girls also have a string of high profile gigs coming up including Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium next month.

They said: “This is just the beginning for Remember Monday. We’ve got new music coming your way, a UK and Ireland headline tour this year, a summer packed with festivals, and we’ll be hitting the stage at Wembley Stadium for the Summertime Ball.”

While the overall result was disappointing, the Remember Monday girls still have a lot to be proud about.

Not only did they end up in the Top 10 for jury points, but they got the UK’s first 12 points in three years from Italy. They also almost doubled our score from last year, with 88, after Olly Alexander got 46.
