Victoria Beckham’s ‘worst nightmare’ as Romeo and Brooklyn come to blows over girlfriend

Victoria Beckham is said to be having “sleepless nights” over her apparent rift with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, as things are “not the same” since the couple got together

Victoria Beckham is reportedly living through “her worst nightmare,” due to an alleged rift with her son Brooklyn, insiders have spilled.

The family drama intensified after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz apparently gave David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash a miss, sparking rumours of a family feud.

Sources suggest that the dynamics within the clan have been off-kilter since Brooklyn got together with Nicola, an actress and filmmaker, back in 2019.

A close insider to the Beckhams revealed that the recent scandal has caused a “wedge growing” between Victoria and David, and their eldest offspring and his spouse. Victoria is said to be particularly affected by the tension.

A source disclosed: “This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights.

“It’s been difficult with Brooklyn since he met Nicola, and there’s no denying that there was a family fallout over their wedding. But Victoria and David have worked hard to get things back on track, so this is a real blow,” reports the Mirror.

A source told The Sun that Victoria and David had made significant efforts to mend fences with Nicola, 30, following a spat that came to light before the couple’s 2022 nuptials.

However, The Mirror exclusively reported last night that Victoria and David, who have been hitched for almost 26 years themselves, recently “refused Brooklyn and Nicola peace talks” despite the young couple’s trip to London “specifically to try to repair the relationship”.

Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham have reportedly given David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash a miss, opting out of the fancy dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, west London over the weekend. The couple also skipped joining David, Victoria and the rest of the Beckham brood – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – for a day of festivities in France on Friday.

A source chatted to The Sun, claiming that Brooklyn and Nicola had every intention of showing up for David’s 50th, but felt too uneasy after it seemed as if Nicola was getting the blame for the family feud.

An insider who spoke with The Mirror mentioned that David and Victoria’s apparent refusal to hold peace talks with Brooklyn and Nicola was surprising, commenting: “As parents, it’s shocking that Victoria and David are behaving this way… instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.”

The party itself got so raucous that it was shut down at 3.35 am following complaints from the neighbours about the noise levels.

The Beckhams and their celeb mates were told to tone it down by authorities as the party escalated throughout the night. The star-studded attendee list included big names like Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay.

Tom Cruise was accompanied by his new flame Ana de Armas, while Beckham’s ex-Man United colleague Gary Neville allegedly made the most of the bar. The host of The Overlap, seen with his wife Emma, was spotted exiting the Michelin-starred restaurant Core in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
