Nicola Peltz breaks silence with family update as Brooklyn Beckham feud rages on

Nicola Peltz has shared a post about “family” after Brooklyn Beckham reportedly blocked his entire family on social media, with sources claiming the couple want the Beckhams to “back off”

Nicola Peltz shared a message about “family” in her debut post following the explosive weekend fallout between her husband Brooklyn and his parents.

The already strained relationship between the Beckhams’ eldest son, his mum and dad Victoria and David, plus his siblings, took a dramatic nosedive after the entire family discovered they’d been ‘blocked’ on social media by the aspiring cook. Brooklyn’s youngest sibling Cruz went public to expose how Brooklyn had deliberately cut off his whole family, including little sister Harper, who was also mercilessly axed.

This marked the first occasion a Beckham family member had openly addressed the bitter row. The rift has escalated throughout this year, with Brooklyn conspicuously absent from his father’s birthday celebrations in May and snubbing his knighthood ceremony later in the year.

He twisted the knife further by declaring to wife Nicola ‘I will always choose you’ after boycotting the family gatherings, reports the Mirror.

Following Brooklyn’s mass unfollowing spree over the weekend, his spouse Nicola made her Instagram comeback with what appeared to be a pointed jab at ‘families’. Sharing a snap of her billionaire father Nelson Peltz beaming behind four vibrant candles, she wrote: “Happy Hanukah from our family to yours.”

Nicola’s relatives welcomed Brooklyn into their celebrations for the Jewish Festival of Lights. Followers have also noticed that the Beckhams wouldn’t be able to see or comment on Nicola’s post, as she’s apparently copied her husband’s actions and seems to have blocked them from social media too, given they no longer follow the socialite.

This marks another setback for the Beckhams as their rift with Nicola, 30, and their eldest son continues to deepen. The Los Angeles-based pair seemingly have no interest in a Christmas reconciliation, and are said to want his UK-based family to “back off” and give them space in hopes of finding some festive peace.

A source close to the Peltz Beckhams has allegedly revealed: “It would be really in the holiday spirit if the Beckhams could just back off and leave them alone for now… Nicola and Brooklyn haven’t been commenting. They just want peace.”

The insider continued: “It would be best for everyone for them [the Beckhams] to stop contacting, commenting and briefing because it’s not accomplishing anything. They have requested that the Beckhams back off. They just want to be left alone… They get upset by the speculation. They are trying to take the high road which is not to react at all and to just live their lives.”

Over the weekend, The Mail claimed that both David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn on social media – an allegation disputed by their younger son Cruz. The 20 year old shared a story insisting: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Brooklyn has apparently cut ties with his family on social media following his mum Victoria’s decision to like a post featuring him preparing a roast chicken.

Reports from The Sun suggest Brooklyn took umbrage at his mother’s public show of support and proceeded to block his entire family online.

“It appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that’s it, this is final. It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family,” a source revealed to the press. Unless there’s an unexpected change of heart, Brooklyn won’t be joining his relatives at their £10million Cotswolds property for Christmas, despite their attempts to mend fences.

The couple will instead be celebrating the holidays with Nicola’s relatives in Miami.

The rift is believed to have begun in the run-up to Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz. Wedding preparations allegedly caused friction, with suggestions that the Peltz family felt aggrieved that the Beckhams hadn’t contributed financially to support the pair’s extravagant Californian way of life.

The situation reached boiling point when Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend David’s birthday celebration in May – despite flying to London especially for the event. The pair are thought to have shunned the gathering after learning that his ex-girlfriend – who is now romantically linked with his brother Romeo – would be present.

Brooklyn also ignored his dad on Father’s Day. Speculation has been rife that Brooklyn’s decision to snap up a new pad in LA and put down roots there was an attempt to distance himself from his famous parents’ London and Cotswolds homes.

However, a source close to the situation dismissed these rumours. Speaking to the Daily Mail, they clarified: “This house has nothing to do with family dynamics. David and Victoria also own property in the US, this is no different.”

They added, “Both Nicola and Brooklyn’s careers are based in Los Angeles, and Brooklyn spent part of his childhood there while his father played for LA Galaxy. During that time, he attended school in LA for several years and built a life and friendships in the city. LA has always felt like home to him.”
