Rapper Huey has died at the age of 31 from a gunshot wound.
The Pop, Lock and Drop It hitmaker was fired at during a shooting.
Huey, whose real name is Lawrence Franks, was killed in the shooting, which happened on his native turf of St. Louis in Missouri.
Local media outlet Fox 2 Now reported shots were fired at around 11pm on Thursday.
He was reportedly rushed to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Another victim was injured in the shooting.
The other unidentified victim is reported to have not sustained life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the second victim will survive the shooting.
No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.
The rapper was previously signed to Jive Records.
Huey had planned to film a music video for his new track this weekend.
Tributes have been pouring in for the American rapper on social media.
One social networker remarked: “Huey, devastated by this news.”
While another continued: “RIP Huey.”
Huey is survived by his 13-year-old daughter.
