Good Morning Britain viewers took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to ask GMB bosses for help after Kate Garraway suffered a live wardrobe malfunction.
Kate, 53, joined Ben Shepherd on the ITV breakfast show to wake up the nation once more after a staggered return following the heartbreaking illness of her husband Derek.
Rocking a bright yellow dress, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Here! contestant beamed away as she presented the daily headlines.
Opting a natural look, Kate stripped things back in terms of her make-up but opted for bold fake eyelashes.
Awkwardly, minutes into the show her left eyelash began to fall off just minutes into the show.
Ever the professional, Kate continued on co-hosting the show as the lashes started to peel away.
Taking to Twitter, one fan tweeted GMB: “@GMB please can someone tell @kategarraway her eyelash is hanging off keep waiting for her to sort it out.”
Another added: “@GMB can someone plz tell Kate to fix her eyelash.”
“@GMB @kategarraway your eye lash is coming away xxx,” a third continued.
A fourth added: “@kategarraway Hope you are well looking good. Your left eyelash is falling off this morning.”
Luckily, during a live interview with Jonathan Ashworth MP about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Kate managed to fix the fail off camera.
Praising her quick fix, one viewer tweeted: “Great recovery from @kategarraway with her eye lash malfunction.”
Another replied: “I had visions of it just falling off mid flow on camera. Bless her.”
Good Morning Britain continues on ITV weekdays at 6am
