Emmerdale fans noticed the arrival of a new character named George during Tuesday’s episode – and felt he was replacing a beloved old cast member.
George has appeared in the village as Kim Tate’s (Claire King) sidekick, assisting her in all of her dodgy business dealings.
However, certain viewers pointed out he was taking the place of her former henchman Graham Foster, who was killed off earlier this year.
Graham, played by Andrew Scarborough, was originally Kim’s right-hand man, carrying out orders and tending to her every whim.

He was killed off by the evil Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) in a violent murder scene back in January, bringing his Emmerdale story to an end.
Remarking over George’s arrival, certain fans wondered whether he had been employed as Graham’s replacement.
One Twitter user said: “Is George the new Graham?! #Emmerdale.”
“Kim needs a new Graham,” said a second, and a third chimed: “Nooooo! not George.”

Proving his worth as a sidekick, George’s first task as Kim’s employee was to threaten Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), menacingly dropping his bags on the floor.
Making it clear George had rifled through his belongings, Kim added: “I think you’ll find we’ve been very thorough.”
Mackenzie scarpered, with Kim proudly looking towards George after his exit, appreciating his skills in intimidation.
Later, George impressed his boss yet again when he successfully tricked Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) into moving her car, offering Kim the opportunity to speak to her granddaughter Millie.

Andrea was furious when she realised she had been fooled by Kim, and rushed to her ex-husband Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) to give him an earful.
With George by her side, is Kim about to become even more powerful in the sleepy Yorkshire village?
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm.
