Piers Morgan blasts Meghan Markle for 'disgraceful' Oprah interview

Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan has taken to social media hours after Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on CBS in the United States.

Piers claims that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are hell-bent on having the world learn to hate England as well as The Royal Family after their bombshell claims.

The 55-year-old is no stranger to sharing his views on Meghan, often engaging in spats on social media as well as on GMB when the Sussexes are brought into the conversation.

Now, he sarcastically said that Meghan, 39, should be nominated for an Oscar after he tuned in to watch the interview.

Typing out to his 7.7 million followers, the outspoken journalist said: “Is it too late for Oscar nominations? #meghan,

“This interview is an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the Queen and the Royal Family.

“I expect all this vile destructive self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle – but for Harry to let her take down his family and the Monarchy like this is shameful. #OprahMeghanHarry.”

Piers has been vocal about his feelings towards Meghan Markle

Piers added: “Harry wants America and the rest of the world to hate his own family, hate the Monarchy and hate his country. I suggest everyone waits for the victims of his wife’s rampage to have their say on her outlandish claims before they do so.

“I wouldn’t believe Meghan Markle if she gave me a weather report.”

Meghan revealed that she was left feeling suicidal and wasn’t able to get help

The former editor of The Mirror went on to share a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan alongside the caption: “Let’s be clear: Prince Harry and his wife just spent two hours trashing everything the Queen stands for & has worked so hard to maintain, whilst pretending to support her.

“And they did it while her 99-year-old husband Philip is seriously ill in hospital. It’s contemptible.”

During Meghan’s emotional interview, she revealed she struggled to adjust to life behind the walls of Kensington Palace and was left feeling suicidal.

Meghan informed Oprah that she went to top officials within “the institution” and asked for help and to be allowed to “go somewhere to get help”.

She later went on to claim that this wasn’t allowed as it wouldn’t be a good move for her image.

The happy couple also announced that they were expecting a baby daughter, who is due later this year, making their son Archie a big brother.
