Rachel Stevens wows fans with sweet snap of 'mini-me' daughter Amelie on her birthday

S Club 7 and Dancing on Ice star Rachel Stevens has shared a rare snap of her daughter Amelie celebrating her 11th birthday.

The 43-year-old took to Instagram to show her “mini-me” daughter beaming at the camera as she described her as “kind” and “caring.”

Amelie was seen with her fingers in a peace sign wearing a leopard print top with her long brunette locks down as she posed for the black and white picture.

The proud mum penned to the post: “11 today! Happy birthday darling girl. Growing up so fast..

“You have the hugest heart, so kind, caring, sensitive, creative with the most amazing energy!

“We are so proud of you in every way. Love you so much Amelie Boo,” she ended the sweet caption with a red heart emoji.

Fans were quick to point out how much Rachel, 43, and her daughter look alike.

One wrote: “Aw happy birthday, looks just like her Mum!”

Another said: “Beautiful! Image of you.”

A third simply commented: “Mini-me!”

Rachel is married to Alex Bourne who she shares daughters Amelie and Minnie, seven.

To her Instagram story, the pop singer shared videos of Amelie enjoying her birthday with friends as she blew out the candles of her chocolate cake.

Currently Rachel is training to take part in the next series of Dancing On Ice which starts in January.

The star has been paired up with pro skater Brendyn Hatfield but last month Rachel was forced to defend herself as fans claimed she had an advantage over contestants due to her dance history.

As well as her pop career, Rachel was also runner-up in Strictly Come Dancing in 2008.

The former S club 7 singer, spoke to The Sun and said: “It’s unfair. They said the same thing when I did Strictly.

“I’m not a trained dancer so going into that was totally out of my comfort zone and a different way of performing.

“Now add the ice element to it and it’s a whole new ball game.”
