Emmerdale siblings Meena Jutla and Manpreet Sharma are set for an epic showdown over the Christmas holidays.
Serial killer Meena, played by Paige Sandhu, is secretly murdering her way through the village but will she finally be caught out before 2021 ends?
Despite being part of the upcoming dramatic showdown storyline, Paige, 24, and Manpreet star Rebecca Sarker, 46, are close friends away from the cameras.
While the sisterhood may not be strong in the village, Paige has revealed that the pair are like sisters away from work.
Speaking to OK!, the soap villain said: “We’re like sisters.”
If I ever feel anxious or need to vent or anything, I go to Rebecca for support.

“Put simply, Rebecca is a really kind and caring person. We really care about the work and both pour our heart and soul into every scene.”
As well as constantly sending voice notes to each other via WhatsApp, Rebecca says Paige is part of the reason why she enjoys working on Emmerdale so much.
Rebecca, who joined the ITV serial drama in 2018, went to reveal that they both enjoy being at the centre of dramatic scenes.

The pair both agreed that they “do their jobs well” before going home to their families and “be private”.
Evil Meena announces she’s pregnant in upcoming scenes leaving Manpreet suspicious.
Hearing the baby news, Manpreet stumbles across a social media page for Nadine’s (Meena’s past victim) sister, Carol, and apprehensively clicks the ‘send message’ button.
Later on, Manpreet meets up with Carol and is totally surprised and disgusted to discover that Carol believes Meena murdered Nadine.

Feeling annoyed with the discovery, Manpreet struggles with the idea that her sister is a murderer and initially regrets contacting Carol.
Meena later meets an unknown driver on Main Street and exchanges cash for a dodgy package. What could Meena be planning to do next?
After demanding to see proof of her pregnancy, Manpreet begins to realise that Carol may have been right all along about Meena’s murderous past.

Realising that Manpreet is on to her Meena begins to stalk Manpreet with a broken bottle.
But will Meena kill her sister to keep her secrets?
Teasing what fans can expect over Christmas, Paige said “All I’ll say is everything we’ve seen from Meena so far is small fry compared to what’s coming up from Christmas Day onwards.”
