Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion documents the star’s attempts to renovate her home in Sussex, and her family life away from the public.

Speaking about the new series, Katie Price told Channel 4: “My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that any more, I’m making it a home.

“I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding.”

Ahead of the new series, Daily Star has taken a look inside the mansion, its history and what fans can expect from Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion.

Katie Price’s £2million mansion is located in the heart of West Sussex, with the impressive Tudor mansion located amongst 10-acres of land, also owned by the star.

Despite moving out while renovations were being completed, photographs from Katie’s Instagram feed have shown that the star has kept some of the mansion’s original features.

These include the solid oak doors, as well as the original oak banisters.

Together, the house also boasts an impressive 19 rooms including seven bedrooms, along with a hot tub in the garden and enough space for an entire fleet of cars too.

The impressive master bedroom has a slightly different colour theme, featuring a kingsize bed covered in a blush pink duvet and pillows, with a grey sofa and blush pink lamp completing the stunning room for a chic and stylish finish.

Living up to her glamorous style, the star also has a blush pink dressing table, which Katie has previously said her kids love to sit in front of too.

Katie Price shocked fans when she invited TV personality Keith Lemon on a tour of her home, as part of the star’s Through The Keyhole programme.

Despite showing off some of the glamorous rooms on social media, the footage showed rooms that also had clothes strewn across the floor, while in others, piles of boxes and clothes could be seen.

They also took a look outside, with Keith Lemon referring to the swimming pool as a “swamp” due to its green colour and the slime that was sitting in the water, to which Katie replied it was “a bit better than a swamp”

In one of the star’s many reality TV programmes, Katie’s pets could also be seen running around the home and eating items such as eggs off the floor.

In another programme, Katie Price’s My Crazy Life, the star revealed that the cesspit in her garden had not been emptied for years.

The disgusting clear out scenes were aired as part of the programme, with Katie Price left retching at the smell.

Following growing rumours about the star’s ‘mucky mansion’ however, Katie also produced a YouTube video in 2019 to address the issues that the house had gone into disrepair.

While piles of rubbish and the green swimming pool could still be seen, the star said to the camera: “I’m going to clear up some rumours about my mucky mansion and house. It’s ridiculous.”

Fire and break in damage

Katie Price was left devastated in 2020, after a fire broke out on one side of the property.

The incident occurred when renovations were taking place, with a source telling The Sun: “Katie was horrified when she was called about the fire – apparently the caretaker built a huge fire right next to the house, and when it went up the side of the house was covered in flames.”

A neighbour reported the fire, with the source adding: “It was put out in the end but you could see the smoke billowing across the road.”

One year later, Katie was also subjected to a number of break ins at her home, causing further damage to the property.

Addressing the first incident in a YouTube video, which saw a neighbour spot three men trying to break into the home, the star said: “Because I had two break-ins about 10 days ago and they literally destroyed my house to bits… the vendetta against me, it’s so personal… it’s weird that three people have been found in my field.

“No one needs to be in my field, because you need to go across country to get there.”

A few days later, the home was sadly target yet again, with thousands of pounds worth of damage caused to the mansion.

It is believed that the taps were left running by the people who broke in, causing water damage, and it is reported that Katie though the spate of burglaries was due to being targeted for her campaign work against trolling.

Following the incident, a source told The Sun: “Katie is devastated.

“She is fearful that whoever has done this has a vendetta against her and even thinks it could be linked to her standing up against social media bullying trolls.

“This crime was committed to cause as much impact and personal upset as possible to Katie.”

It has since been reported that the house has fallen into disrepair, and that Katie has moved out with her family while renovations are being completed.

Speaking about the home to The Mirror, the star said: “Even just walking up the driveway drives me mad, and when I’m in I want to get out of there. I can’t explain it in my head and it’s just so sad what’s happened to my house.

“It’s sad because it could be such an amazing place, but no I’m done with it.

“I own that house but it just literally sits there until mentally I’m ready to do something with it.

“It’s weird to know that I still own that big house, it just sits there, I sometimes forget that I’ve even got it.”

However, Katie will be inviting fans back into the home for the new Channel 4 TV series Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, which will see the star renovating her home back to its former glory.

Clips from the new series has given fans a sneak peak of what they can expect, including Katie on a cherry picker, and the star dropping a plant pot that accidentally knocks the guttering off the side of the house.

As well as the renovations, Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion will also follow Katie and her family as she attempts to put bad memories and traumatic events behind her and create a happy home.
