Piers Morgan shares sneak peek at new TV studio in first job since GMB exit

Piers Morgan has shared pictures of his brand new TV studio in his first job since storming out of Good Morning Britain last year.

The 56-year-old firebrand presenter quit the ITV’s flagship breakfast show in dramatic fashion in March 2021 when he walked out on-air during a heated discussion with weatherman Alex Beresford.

Almost a year on, Piers is now gearing up to front his own prime-time TV show on soon-to-launch television channel TalkTV, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Sharing previously unseen images of the currently empty studio at The News Building near London Bridge, he wrote on Twitter: “BREAKING: First (very early) glimpse of my spanking new work home”

‘If you judge a man by the size of his studio then I’ll be MASSIVE when my new global daily prime-time TV show launches in a few weeks. ps relax, those aren’t actually dance-floor lights… .”

Morgan’s new show will debut when the channel launches at some point in ‘early 2022’, and will also be shown on two of Murdoch’s other TV brand across the world — the streaming service Fox Nation in the U.S., and also on Sky News Australia.

Referring to the international broadcast deal, he wrote: ‘”I’ll be a tri-continent irritant which is something I’ve been aspiring to be for quite some time… If you’ve missed me on morning TV, I’m sorry, I’ll be back very soon.

On Friday, Piers Morgan hit out at Prince Harry’s latest mental health speech for US firm BetterUp and claimed the emancipated royal is ‘morphing into someone totally unrecognisable’ in his column for The Sun.

In the speech, Harry shared his top tips for mental fitness, one of which included “wiping your mental windscreen” by “surrounding yourself with people who have different points of view and encourage you to see things more clearly”.
