Dancing on Ice star Kye Whyte's 'flirtatious' behaviour on set with pro Morgan Swales

Kye Whyte has gained a reputation for being a ‘flirt’ on the set of Dancing on Ice, according to a show source.

The 22-year-old Olympic BMX athlete reportedly has the hots for Sheffield-born professional skater Morgan Swales — and doesn’t seem to mind that she already has a boyfriend.

Morgan, also 22, has been dating Sheffield Steelers ice hockey player Cole Shudra for six years.

A backstage source says this hasn’t stopped the Peckham lad trying though, telling The Sun: “Kye is so funny backstage and loves to flirt with all the women.

“But the poor lad has his eyes set on the one girl he can’t have.

“Morgan is gorgeous so you can’t blame him for trying. But when she posted a loving Instagram message to Cole on Valentine’s Day, it was clear she was not interested in Kye’s efforts.”

Kye entered Dancing On Ice last year only months after he won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo for BMX racing.

The Daily Star has approached Kye’s representatives for comment.

Last Sunday’s (February 13) show saw him eliminate Liberty Poole after they went head-to-head in the latest skate-off.

Liberty had scored a 28 for her rollercoaster routine to Right Round by Flo Rida and Ke$ha, while Kye scored 28.5 for his skate to Supermassive Black Hole by Muse.

It wasn’t a unanimous vote to eliminate Liberty, as judge Oti Mabuse chose to save her over Kye.

However Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean all voted to save Kye, which meant the majority won and Liberty was sent packing.

Ashley described the choice as “tough”, saying: “You guys did a great skate off and it was really, really close.”

Oti said it was “really difficult” too, as she added: “My heart is with both of you and I really want both of you to do well.”
