Gogglebox fans left baffled as they spot major continuity error on Channel 4 show

Fans of Gogglebox were quick to spot a continuity error during the latest episode of the Channel 4 show.

When the sofa surfers sat down to watch The Apprentice, viewers who watched the programme on Thursday night noticed that a major aspect had been revealed in the show way before the Gogglebox stars reacted to it.

Seeing that the timings didn’t add up, some viewers questioned whether the stars of Gogglebox watched The Apprentice to its entirety.

Jumping onto Twitter, fans aired their confusion.

One viewer penned: “They’re clearly not watching the full episode of The Apprentice on #Gogglebox as Karren had already mentioned the ‘First Time Dies’ issue by that point.”

Another said: “They’re clearly not watching the full episode of The Apprentice on #Gogglebox as Karren had already mentioned the “First Time Dies” issue by that point.”

While a third joked: “NOT FIRST TIME DIES ALL OVER AGAIN. It was too funny living through it the first time.”

On the most recent episode of The Apprentice, the budding entrepreneurs were tasked with creating baby food and an eye-catching brand to go alongside their product.

But the task was clearly too much to handle for the remaining contestants.

When faced with food retailers Iceland and Ocado, both teams were unable to meet the brief and had issues with the taste of their product and the logo.

Business owner Harpreet Kaur was left fuming when her team members Akeem Bundu-Kamara and Stephanie Affleck came up with the name First Time Foodies for their brand.

However the two entrepreneurs made a design error and had the word “dies” stand out on the bottle of their product.

Over on the other team, Aaron Willis created a product that clearly had way too much starch and not enough vegetables which resulted in poor taste.

As a result, Akeem and Aaron were eliminated from the process, leaving only four members remaining in the semi final.

Jumping onto Twitter, fans shared their frustrations regarding the firing at the time.

One fan shared: “Can understand Akeem, but Aaron going is completely the wrong call. Girls hung him out to dry, and Sugar has let them get away with it. Shocking.”

While another upset fan said: “NOOOOO WAY. NOPE NOPE NOPE.@Lord_Sugar has made 2 mistakes tonight. Aaron has been strong throughout. Akeem has been made a scapegoat?! Didn’t he make 1mil in orders at 1 point?! Stephanie and Kathryn should have gone.”
