Travis Barker health update as Blink-182 star suffers 'life-threatening' pancreatitis

Travis Barker is apparently “taking it easy” as he continues to recover from a “life-threatening” case of pancreatitis.

The Blink-182 drummer – who is married to reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian – was admitted to hospital last week after suffering “excruciating pain” in his abdomen.

He is now thought to have left the hospital and returned home.

And a source told Us Weekly magazine that he is taking things slowly for now.

“Travis is following doctors’ orders and is taking it easy until he’s fully recovered,” the source said, adding that Kourtney is being very supportive of her husband.

The star is on the mend

The insider said the rocker is doing “much better” and was well enough to leave the house to celebrate the 4th of July with the family.

“They had a nice relaxing holiday at the beach,” they added.

Earlier this week, Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty Kourtney shared a clip of herself driving an orange truck with two of her three children in the back.

Her hubby’s face wasn’t shown, but the camera did pan down to show there were two sets of feet in the front of the vehicle, so it’s thought she was driving Travis home.

The musician’s health scare started after a routine trip to hospital for an endoscopy.

Travis recently explained to fans that he felt fine afterwards but that he was in a lot of pain once he’d eaten his dinner that night.

“During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
