I'm A Celeb's Scarlette Douglas admits one jungle grub is her 'new favourite'

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Scarlette Douglas told Good Morning Britain presenters Richard Madeley, Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold that kangaroo sausage was her “new favourite” food.

The A Place In The Sun presenter live streamed from Australia to tell the GMB panel of her take-aways from the jungle experience.

She laughed: “To be honest, I think kangaroo sausage is my new fave type of sausage!”

Scarlette was voted out in Sunday’s episode (November 20) of the hit ITV show.

She became the second celebrity to be axed via the public vote, following newscaster Charlene White, who was the first to go on Friday night (November 18).

Scarlette also told the GMB panel that she’ll be rooting for comedian Babatunde Aleshe to win the show, after bonding with him while in the Australian jungle for just over two weeks.

“I want baba to win, he’s like my brother now. I’d love to see him win”, she revealed.

Richard Madeley asked Scarlette about her time in camp alongside former MP Matt Hancock, whose decision to join the reality show was met with controversy at home and in the celebrity camp.

Speaking on the moment she met Matt, Scarlette said: “Everyone was shocked to see him in there, I had to pull him aside and tell him how I felt, I told him, ‘There’s a lot of things you’ve done that people aren’t happy with’.
