EastEnders viewers are convinced that two iconic characters have made a fatal error after recent scenes may have hinted at a pregnancy mix up.
Fans tuned in to Tuesday’s episode (6 December) and saw Whitney and Stacey preparing to take a pregnancy test each.
They sat round the dinner table and joked that tests came in sets of two so “broke girls can split the cost”.

Whitney and Stacey giggled at the joke and proceeded to head upstairs to the bathroom to take their tests.
However, later on the girls spoke in code to each other and all appeared to be well and good on Albert Square for the two residents.

Many viewers seem to think that the BBC soap’s storyline will result in a pregnancy test mix-up and one character will be left shocked at the result.
Fans took to Twitter to speculate over the series and predicted the way EastEnders will go in the coming weeks.
One tweeted: “Oh no! What if Stacey and Whitney got their pregnancy tests mixed up, that would be soooo EastEnders predictability!!”

Another wrote: “What if the plot twist is Whitney isn’t actually the pregnant one. They get their tests mixed up and Stacey is carrying Kheerat 2.0.”
A third fan also thought they’d rumbled the writers: “They’re going to get the tests mixed up aren’t they?”
As the episode went on, fans saw Whitney return to her flat and caught her pals preparing margaritas.
They looked sheepish as they explained that they had prepared a party for her 30th birthday and through gritted teeth, Whitney seemed pleased about it – but added that she would be “skipping the alcohol”.

It is later revealed that she is indeed pregnant – or at least thinks she is – with Zack’s child after their rendezvous a little while ago.
It is unclear whether Whitney is pleased about the revelation as she has maintained a straight face throughout the entire situation and has given nothing away as to her emotions.
Elsewhere on Albert Square, Ricky is trying to win back his ex-wife Sam but made a big mistake as he tried to comfort her.
However, some fans on social media wrote that they were “pleased” for the star, despite being unsure as to how she feels.
He reached out to touch her elbow but covered her cream coat in grease, yet still managed to secure a date with her.
