With Mo Gilligan back as the host and performances from megastars like Sam Smith, Stormzy and Harry Styles, there’s plenty for music fans to get excited about.
And, if we’re lucky, maybe something unexpected will happen this evening to add to the ever-growing collection of iconic Brit award moments.
After all, over the years, the BRITS and its extensive superstar guest list have birthed some classic moments that we haven’t stopped speaking about since.
So as the show returns to TV screens on Saturday (February 12) the Daily Star is taking a look at the show’s biggest blunders.
Anne-Marie’s tumble
In 2022, pop superstar Anne-Marie became living proof that the show must go on, when she took a tumble during a performance.
The Friends hitmaker had taken to the stage dressed in a sparkly red dress to perform her hit single Don’t Play, alongside KSI.
But things took an awkward turn when Anne-Marie managed to lose her footing and ended up at the bottom of the stairs.
The famous singer was just seconds into her performance when she took a slight tumble.
After a few tense moments, she got up to carry on with the rest of the song like a true professional.
Anne-Marie isn’t the only pop star to have taken a tumble on-stage at the Brits, as who could forget the Queen of Pop Madonna’s tragic fall?
Geri Halliwell flashes boob
Geri Halliwell – now Horner – left Britain swooning when she stepped out in her iconic Union Jack dress at the 1997 BRIT Awards – along with her Spice Girls bandmates.
Later on in the evening, the redhead changed into a red sequin gown with a daringly low-cut top that left very little to the imagination.
When she walked up to collect the band’s award though, her right breast slipped out of her dress – right in front of host Ben Elton and the cameras.
Mo Gilligan drops f-bomb
Comedian Mo Gilligan did a fantastic job of taking over from previous host Jack Whitehall in 2022.
But the That’s My Jam star did unfortunately suffer a minor blunder on live television.
The 33-year-old TV star seemed to get excited and dropped the F-bomb, as he introduced the legendary disc jockey, Pete Tong.
Mo later apologised for the mishap later on in the evening, during a segment with Olivia Rodrigo and veteran presenter Maya Jama.
Sharon Osbourne calls out ‘p****d’ Vic Reeves
At the 2008 Brit Awards, the entire Osbourne family bagged themselves hosting duties, and things were running smoothly until Vic Reeves came on stage to present an award.
As, the comedian apparently struggled to announce the award for Best British Album, mum Sharon turned to him and started swearing, accusing him of being drunk.
She branded Vic as “pissed b******”, but he later insisted he merely struggled with the autocue.
Arctic Monkeys hit out at Brits on-stage
That wasn’t the only drama to go down that night – as Sheffield band the Arctic Monkeys quickly made headlines following their apparent alcohol-fuelled speech.
Taking to the stage to collect the award for Best British Album, the boys appeared to be drunk and launched a sarcastic attack on the Brits school.
Dressed in hunting gear, the band called out the establishment which led to them being cut off mid-speech.
