Viewers of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show were left aghast on the latest episode of the comedy show spotting a “hideous” piece of furniture at a celebrities home.
As the comic returned to screens tonight (February 11th) to welcome a slew of stars and performers, Michael kicked off his Midnight Gameshow skit, which sees him visit a star at home and wake them up at midnight before asking them to perform a series of tasks in their PJs.
Up in the firing line tonight was Pointless presenter and Classic FM DJ Alexander Armstrong, who was awoken by Michael banging gongs in front of his face as he slept alongside his wife, Anna.

But as he began performing a series of tasks and answering questions, fans were distracted by his rather unusual headboard.
“That headboard is ugly #BigShow,” blasted one viewer.
Another chimed in: “Gods Teeth! That head board! #BigShow,” while a third echoed: “that is THE most hideous headboard I’ve ever seen in my life. Sorry not sorry.”
Fans were also taken aback by some of his other décor, particularly a creepy photo that hung in the hallway, though many praised his “stately” home.
“Xander’s house is amazing! #BigShow,” one viewer gushed.
#bigshow Blimey, it looks like a stately home.
McIntyre said in the run-up to the broadcast: “Alexander Armstrong was wonderful because he has got a lovely house and he is so sweet and so funny. There is some hilarious moments in his gameshow including a ‘posh-off’ with Jamie Laing, there are also two sheep in his bedroom!”
Midnight Game Show has been hilarious viewing in recent weeks.
Comedian Chris Ramsey was a particular highlight when he was awoken by McIntyre and had to do some UFC cage-fighting.
Ramsey also revealed on social media something a lot of viewers must have wondered.
What happens if you have an erection when you are woken up with cameras in the room? Ramsey said he was far too scared by the shock of the experience to have a stiffy.
The show also features singer Olly Murs and Stacey Dooley handing over her mobile phone for some Send To All Fun.
And this week there is a pair of Unexpected Stars of the Show, Gabriella and Jasmine Tuicicia from Carnforth, who get brilliantly pranked by Michael McIntyre heavily disguised in a track suit wig, glasses and funny facial hair.
If they seem familiar that might be because they appeared on The Voice Kids on ITV1 over Christmas, singing with Black Eyed Peas superstar will.i.am.
