Love Island viewers were left stunned when blonde beauty Lana Jenkins appeared to not know what a mammal is.
The professional makeup artist also shocked her love interest Ron Hall with the conversation – which stemmed from them discussing if seafood is the same thing as fish.
As Ron pointed out that not every sea-dwelling animal is a fish, citing whales as an example due to them being mammals, Lana was baffled by the idea.

She then asked what a mammal is, leading to Ron giving her a quick education as he repeatedly giggled in disbelief.

Lana said: “Fish are seafood. They come from the sea.”
Ron laughed as he pointed out: “Yeah but so do whales but they’re not fish.”
Lana rebuffed his claim stating: “Yeah they are.”
Ron replied: “No they’re not they’re mammals.”

Confused Lana said: “They’re huge fish. Mammals are outside of the sea. “
Ron reiterated: “No they’re mammals, that’s not what mammals are you donut.”
Lana then asked: “What’s a mammal then?” as Ron explained “mammals give birth like you do. “
Fans then took to Twitter to discuss their own amazement at the conversation – and Lana’s seeming lack of understanding of life.
One wrote: “Lana cannot be serious. Like what on earth? She must be pulling his leg. This can’t be a real conversation between two adults.”

A third fan laughed: “Omg Ron and Lana I am dying. These two are hysterical I can’t deal with it.”
A fourth social media user tweeted: “So Lana seriously needs to be told what a mammal is… words fail me.”
A fifth said: “I have to say I look forward to Unseen Bits just for these chats between Ron and Lana.”
