Vicky Pattison has said she suffers from post traumatic stress – if she watches reality TV.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner said she can’t watch shows like Love Island now in case she gets triggered.
Vicky, 35, revealed: “Honestly, after Geordie Shore, I’ve really struggled to watch any reality TV.

“Just because I get like – this is mad dramatic and I’m not meaning to be insensitive to anybody – but it’s like a low level PTSD thing.
“I can see, if I watch a bit of Love Island, if I come in and [partner] Ercan has got it on, and I can see a girl being told something by a fella, like ‘you’re overreacting’ – my whole body tenses up.
“Because I just think, ‘I’ve been there’ and she’s embarrassed and scared and he’s getting in her head.
“And I can’t relax. I can’t enjoy it in the same way that other people do because all I think about is that poor girl and the turmoil she’s going through.
“So I can’t explain other people’s fascination properly because my experience has led me to have a really complicated relationship with reality TV.”
Vicky found fame on MTV shows Geordie Shore and Ex on the Beach, while her fiance Ercan Ramadan appeared on The Only Way Is Essex.
But she told ex-boxer Tony Bellew on his podcast that she can understand why people watch reality telly and enjoy bust-ups and people getting angry.
She added: “I think we’re obsessed with human nature, aren’t we?
“Because it makes us feel better about ourselves. None of us are perfect, we’re all fabulously flawed.
“And to sit and watch someone on the TV, whether it’s having an emotional breakdown, a break-up or just being angry, it makes you think, ‘I’m so normal, I would never do that.”
“That’s what it is and it’s a fascination with the human form in every single area.
“If I had to hazard a guess I’d say it’s because we’re all really f***ing nosey and we all want to feel better about our faults as well.”
