Faye Winter confessed she is “grieving” her ex-boyfriend Teddy Soares following their emotional split as she explained the pressure of public eyes watching them may have doomed their relationship.
The former Love Island couple – who came third on the ITV2 dating programme back in 2021 – were the last remaining couple to stay together from the group.
But the pair finally called time on their relationship after 18 months together as she reflected on how things collapsed between them.

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, the blonde bombshell accepted that it was time to move on but explained parting ways has not been easy on her after losing her “soul mate”.
When looking back on their relationship, one of the main catalysts that lead to their separation was the pressure of their adoring fans following their journey online.
The 27-year-old told the news outlet: “We’re from very different worlds and we were trying to build a relationship in this very high-pressure environment.
“We got moulded together, but we had different dreams and ambitions and I had to respect Teddy’s.”
Faye went on: “We were so similar and we got on so well – he’ll forever have a very special place in my heart – and it feels like I’m grieving someone. It’s so hard. I honestly believed he was my soulmate.
“It’s always hard to come to terms with these things and him not being there to build a life with. But you have to respect each other. It’s a loss, but you’ve got to keep on moving forwards.”
The former lettings manager and ex-financial consultant Teddy, 28, sparked backlash during their fiery on-off romance on the ITV show.
Despite finishing in third place, the pair went on to become the longest-standing couple to come out of the 2021 series after Millie Court and Liam Reardon called it quits last July.
It comes after weeks of speculation about their heated break-up on Valentines Day when they failed to pay tribute to one another before they made the decision to go their separate ways.
Last week, the TV personality admitted the “hardship” of their break-up has been extremely difficult, particularly while being in the public eye.

Speaking to The Sun, she added: “It’s hard because I went into Love Island to purely find someone and I said anything on top of that was an added bonus.
“I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve been in a relationship in the public eye and I’ve had to go through a break-up in the public eye.
“So obviously it’s been hard and everything that’s been hard in my life post-Love Island, I’ve always had Teddy there to help me deal with it and visa versa, I’ve always helped him.”
