Britney Spears’ fans believe they have uncovered a secret link between the princess of pop and the late Princess of Wales after spotting a subtle clue.
In one of her latest dance videos, Britney could be seen rocking a clingy pink dress and knee-high white boots as she rocked out to Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
Britney twirled for the camera in the off-the-shoulder gown which barely skimmed the tops of her thighs, with her blonde tresses in a half-up, half-down ‘do before she added a pair of retro shades to her ensemble.

Completing the look was a delicate jade necklace worn around her throat, while Brit left the curtains behind her open to show her mountain view as she clutched her boobs and spun around.

But most conspicuously of all was the portrait of Princess Diana on the wall behind her.
The portrait was prominently displayed in an oval frame just behind the star – and fans now think her ‘obsession’ with the late royal has been confirmed.
Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, one fan said: “The dancing, the song and the Princess Diana portrait in the background, everything about this video is just so perfect.”
“My mood today is the framed photo of Princess Diana in Britney Spears’ house,” someone else added.

While a third fan gushed: “Britney got a framed photo of Princess Diana in her house, we love an icon showing love to another icon.”
Britney has expressed empathy for Diana, who died in 1997, in a lengthy tribute post.
Back in 2021, she shared a photo of the royal and penned: “She never wanted to be the Queen. She wanted to be the heart of the people!!!!
