Far from his life portraying food addict Officer Mike Biggs in hit sitcom Mike & Molly, actor Billy Gardell looks completely unrecognisable now after losing a whopping 150 pounds.
Mike & Molly focused on the titular characters who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous group after struggling with food addiction, and fall in love.
But now actor Billy Gardell is looking a far cry from his old character – and has even managed to reverse his Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis after losing so much weight.

In a new snap, the actor looked totally dapper in a black tuxedo and bow tie, donning a pair of retro aviator shades as he showed off his slimmer face.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Billy revealed that his weight now “floats between 205 and 210” pounds (15 stone), down from 370lbs (26.4 stone).
He’s managed to reverse his diabetes and dropped his resting heart rate from 113 BPM to just 68 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery two years ago.
He added: “I’m walking around pretty healthy these days. Of course, there’s always people online that, you know, when I was heavy, they were like, ‘You’re too heavy!’ And now it’s like, ‘Are you sick?’

“Can I just walk the earth, please?”
The 53-year-old actor confessed he’s still smoking cigarettes but attempting to cut down on his intake – and he’s determined to live longer for his son.
He said: “When you hit 50, you start doing that dad math, like, ‘If I can live 25 more years, and he’ll be 40’. So I want to be here for him.”
Billy also wants to be a “good example of health” for his child.

But losing weight has also had its drawbacks, with the actor confessing that all his new pants have ankles that are “too tight”.
He joked: “That’s where I miss my fat boy pants, because you could drop them and step out like a fireman.”
But he’s chuffed he can finally shop at stores outside the “big and tall” market – which he branded “a real gift”.
Since Mike & Molly ended, Billy has landed a lead role in Bob Hearts Abishola, along with appearing in shows like New Girl and Girl Meets World.
