Bride and Prejudice star who ‘died in car crash’ could still be alive as cops speak out

Bride and Prejudice Australia star Dannii Erskine could still be alive after being reported dead in April 2023 after a “fatal car crash”.

Now, Melbourne police are claiming the accident never actually happened – and the controversial reality star might still be alive after all.

Last month, someone claiming to be Dannii’s sister Dee claimed Dannii was involved in a horrific accident when another driver T-boned her car on her way home from a shopping trip in North Melbourne.

A post on Dannii’s Instagram page showed a tribute to the star, with the words: “Rest in peace” and “1995-2023” written on a cream background, along with a black-and-white photo.

The caption on the post read: “28/04 took Dannii’s life to a speeding driver – an awful accident. We appreciate and respect wishes we have received as a family.

“The account is going to be deleted in the next day. Thank you for your support and respect.”

Now further claims have suggested Dannii could still be alive, with Victoria Police releasing a statement about the accident – which may never have happened.

Though the cops could not comment on individuals due to privacy laws, the force confirmed there were no fatal or life-threatening collisions recorded in North Melbourne within the past month.

Furthermore, sources claimed to 7NEWS.com.au that Dannii is actually still alive.

And the Coroner’s Court of Victoria has no record of her death.

Dannii shot to fame on the ‘forbidden wedding’ reality show in 2019, which follows couples who plan to wed while their families disapprove of their relationships.

Originally a spin-off from the US show of the same name, the Australian version of the show saw Dannii prepare to marry husband Denton.

The pair were involved in plenty of controversy on the show, claiming their lovemaking lasted just 15 seconds and being rocked by a cheating scandal.

Denton has since moved on with his new fiancée Skye Geri, popping the question in March 2023 – and has not commented on Dannii’s supposed death.
