I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Nicola McLean has revealed which chore is the hardest.
The 2008 series star chatted exclusively to the Daily Star during an Instagram Live.
Talking about when she was camp chef with her co-star and Blue member Simon Webbe, she said it was a difficult position to uphold due to not having the right “tools”.

Nicola, 41, recalled: “I can remember when we got an octopus, which is nice don’t get me wrong, but it was a full octopus with all the blood still in it. And we didn’t have many tools, I can’t remember how we did that and I don’t remember if I ate it.
“But I remember it coming down and thinking what the hell do I do this with this?
“And crab, lovely, but without any tools to get into it, it’s hard work, sometimes cooking was harder work than doing the trials. I’d say it was the hardest chore for sure.”
This comes after Nicola ‘exposed’ I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’s Andy Whyment’s exit tactics.
The Corrie star left last week alongside Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, when they lost their challenge to Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo.
Speaking about Andy, Nicola said: “He definitely didn’t do as well as he did last time. I definitely think it was the right time for him to go, not Toff.
“I felt so sorry for her, it wasn’t her time to go but I think, for him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t trying as hard in that trial I think he wanted to go.”
When asked if she believes he fixed it on purpose, Nicola answered: “Yep, I do, I think he was really happy to go so I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t do his best.
“He seemed done in the first bit dint he, even after two days, it’s not that bad. Rice and beans for two days, you know what you’re getting into.
“I think it was right for him to go to because I think he would have got more and more down and you would’ve seen his grumpy side of his personality, which isn’t what we’ve seen before, so I think it was right that he went.”
