BBC Breakfast’s Jon Kay issues stern warning to guest as they rip clothes off on air

Things took an unexpected turn on the latest episode of BBC Breakfast after Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn appeared on the show.

During Monday morning’s programme (June 19), presenters Sally Nugent and Jon Kay attempted to interview Viggo about his recent win and his upcoming tour.

But the 34-year-old clearly had other plans as he continued to showcase his talent which involves taking off his top and trousers to reveal a yellow high-visibility outfit.

In addition to this, Viggo threw confetti on the hosts and sat in between the pair and as they tried their best to converse with him, he ripped off his top and trousers to reveal yet another high-vis jacket.

Jon Kay was also left unimpressed as Viggo asked if his coffee was real and began sprinkling confetti into it.

This led Jon to shout: “No! Don’t touch my coffee!”

But despite the light humour that Viggo offered, viewers at home were far from impressed with Viggo’s studio chaos and headed over to Twitter to complain.

One social media user wrote: “TV is OFF again, f*****g @BBCBreakfast at it again with “hilarious” X Factor showbiz report.”

Fans were left unimpressed by his act

Another asked: “What is this? Is this something they do on ITV? Why are you doing this to us?”

A third disgruntled viewer penned: “People voted for him? Embarrassing. This country is so messed up.”

And another added: “Well this is beyond awkward.”

Meanwhile, some viewers thought Sally looked “petrified” when Viggo ran around the studio and then sat next to her.

As well as winning £250,000 on BGT, the Norwegian comedian recently announced that he is going on his first-ever UK national tour, called British Comedian.

Viggo will be going on tour later this year

Viggo will be heading to 20 venues across the country later this year.

The star told The Sun: “I have been receiving thousands of videos on Instagram from young and old dancing around in hi vis vests and nothing makes me happier!

“So excited to bring a show full of fun, quirkiness and surprises for everyone! Can’t wait to meet people and go on a highly visible UK tour!

“I will bring Viggo-vests with me, if you forget yours!”
