Corrie Stephen’s ‘next victim confirmed’ as crucial Rufus evidence set to expose him

Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid is left panicking as he realises that he has made a huge mistake with Rufus’ death.

Next week, Lou arrives for her meeting and tells Carla and Stephen the police have agreed to look into the missing watch and the strange tie pin.

A panicking Stephen steals her hotel key from her bag as he makes a desperate plan to try and rectify his problem.

He overhears Peter on the call to the pawnbroker, leaving him confused and eventually Peter confesses to Stephen that he pawned the watch but it has been sold.

Stephen is worrying that he is going to be caught out

Stephen lets himself into Lou’s hotel room whilst she is at the factory and rifles through Lou’s belongings.

To his delight, he finds his tie pin and pops it in his pocket, but as he makes to leave, he’s horrified to hear someone at the bedroom door.

Is this the end of the road for Stephen?

A suspicious Peter later tells Carla to keep an eye on Stephen he can’t be trusted after his conversation with him at the hotel.

Peter and Carla are growing suspicious of Stephen

Later, Lou comes to the factory for a meeting but reveals that she has really come to find out who stole the tie pin.

Creative tool AI predicted Stephen would be caught by the police with a crucial piece of evidence as they investigate Leo’s death.

They told Daily Star: “This is the most likely scenario, as the police are already investigating his involvement in the death of Leo. If they find enough evidence, they could arrest him and charge him with murder.

“Stephen is caught by the police, he could be sentenced to prison for his crimes. This would be a fitting end for him, as he would be locked away for the rest of his life, effectively ending his time on the show.”

A panicking Stephen then arranges for Peter and Carla to attend a wine tasting at the bistro, and as viewers know, he has a history of spiking drinks, so could murder be on the cards again as he covers up his crimes?

Corrie airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
