EastEnders fans are convinced Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) will have an affair.
Fans of the BBC One soap that Stacey was previously married to Jack’s nephew Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) who she cheated on with Max Branning (Jake Wood), who is Bradley’s father and Jack’s brother.
However, eagle-eyed viewers think that she will be at the centre of another Branning love triangle but this time with copper Jack after it was mentioned that Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was taking her son Raymond away from Albert Square to go on holiday.

Stacey has recently turned to Jack following her stalking ordeal regarding creepy teacher Theo Hawthrone (WIlliam Ellis) who has become infatuated with her Walford resident after subscribing to her Secret Cam site. As well as being connected through Max and Bradley, the pair also shared a grandchild Charli, who’s the daughter of Stacey’s daughter Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) and Jack’s son Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day).

After watching Stacey and Jack grow closer in recent weeks, fans are convinced they will grow feelings for each other and have a steamy fling behind Denise’s back. Some have taken to social media to voice their opinion.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Jack is helping Stacey. Now suggesting that Denise and Raymond on holiday. Please don’t tell me Jack and Stacey will sleep together. A second person added: “It’s got to be a Jack and Stacey affair soon.” A third viewer agreed: “Jack is so going to get with Stacey and Stacey will complete a Branning treble!”

Someone else typed: “The Jack and Stacey affair prediction is also feasable. Jack suggested that Denise spends time away from Walford. He could get closer to Stacey in this time. Theo could also become aware of Stacey and Jack’s pact soon and this could complicate things.” Another viewer said: “Anyone else get some serious vibes tonight from Jack and Stacey?”
Stacey and Jack’s “affair” could also be linked to the Christmas murder which will see one mystery character killed at The Queen Vic. Some fans think Jack could be the victim as both Denise and Stacey are suspects in the rumoured crime which will happen before the end of 2023.
