Matthew Perry’s assistant found body in hot tub and pulled his head above water for air

Matthew Perry was found underwater in his hot tub by his assistant, who lifted his head to get air in his lungs, first responders have claimed.

The Los Angeles Fire Department released a statement that the actor was found underwater in his jacuzzi but was “repositioned” by his assistant when they arrived at his Pacific Palisades home on Saturday (October 28). Despite their best efforts, a spokesperson for the LAFD told the Los Angeles Times that the Friends star was already deceased upon arrival.

They told the publication: “An adult male patient was deceased prior to first response arrival. The patient was found by a bystander who had re-positioned the victim where the head was out of water.
