Coronation Street fans have been gripped to their screens over the past few weeks as tensions rise in the Winter Brown household when Joseph’s health took a turn for the worst.
Loyal fans of the ITV show will know the youngsters has been pushing his luck in recent weeks by pretending to be sick to skip school. His questionable illness has certainly caused friction between the newlyweds.
Last week, husband Chesney was quick to berate Gemma after she let the 12-year-old skip school when he complained of having a headache. This week his mystery illness only got worse, but Gemma knew better than to let him take another day off.

But things went from bad to worse when Chesney was called out of work to pick up his son up from school. The fiery redhead lashed out at Gemma once again for not realising when Joseph is telling the truth and when he is lying.
It didn’t take long before their heated argument got out of hand when Chesney suggested his wife was not coping. The auburn beauty immediately took offence at his accusation and branded herself a terrible mum before she stormed out the house.
Now, Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent ‘creative’ tools Bard AI through its place to see if the couple will stay together. When asked if the pair could expect during this difficult period, the program predicted that the couple could break up.
It stated: “It is possible that Gemma and Chesney could break up on Coronation Street. They have had a turbulent relationship in the past, and there are several factors that could lead to them splitting up.”
The system pointed out that one of the biggest obstacles the pair are facing is the every-growing financial strain. It explained: “Gemma and Chesney are always struggling to make ends meet, and this could put a strain on their relationship.”
It argued that another point of contention for the couple could be her twin brother Paul’s degenerative motor neuron disease. It went on: “The stress of caring for a terminally ill loved one can take a toll on even the strongest relationships.
“Gemma may feel resentful towards Chesney if she feels like he is not pulling his weight in caring for Paul. Alternatively, Chesney may feel neglected if Gemma is focused solely on Paul’s care.

“Additionally, the couple may argue about how to best care for Paul, which could further strain their relationship.” It comes after their mother Bernie was handed a custodial sentence in the run up to Christmas as Paul celebrates his final few months before his illness leaves him unable to speak.
After learning that the matriarch could be serving time behind bars this Christmas, the family decided to throw an early Christmas dinner while they’re all together. Fans will have to stay tuned to see if Gemma and Chesney’s disagreement will tear them apart.
