ITV Deal or No Deal fans slam ‘unfair’ format as two players ‘snubbed’ in studio

Deal or No Deal fans are slamming the ITV show for its ‘unfair’ format which appeared to leave two players without an opportunity to face the Banker and win money.

Fans tuned into the last episode of the series on Friday (December 15) as Stephen Mulhern welcomed back the familiar faces of the contestants, as well as two new ones. But as the host informed viewers it was the season finale, fans were left wondering why two newbies were brought in as a pair of long-standing players didn’t get the opportunity to play at all, despite having appeared on all 20 episodes of the show.

“Can’t believe DOND is ending after 3 weeks. Not really fair on everyone who’s waited since the start for it to end,” blasted one fan. “#dealornodeal 20 shows, so you go home without being picked, is that it!” another slammed.

A third echoed: “So they had 2 new players today… did they skip a person? Also are they gonna bring back the same people next series because Orla and Brian never got a game even though they’ve been on every show.”

Another penned: “Poor Brian!! Let’s riot!!” and “I feel so gutted for Brian- he deserved better.” Fans were also confused as to why there were two new contestants on the show instead of one, and slammed the fact that there was zero chance they would get a chance to play.

“2 new players on the last show- what’s the fcking point ffs!!!…” “Last show and yet they had to get 2 new “players” in, what a waste of their experience? I hope they do another series and allow them to come back #DealorNoDeal.”

There were also other players that has been on for the majority of the series that fans were disappointed never got a turn to play. “i’m sure we all have the one contestant we want to see selected for the last #dealornodeal . I don’t know why, but I hope it’s Myles, who’s been there from the start.”
