Kerry Katona was left utterly heartbroken as she announced the tragic death of her childhood sweetheart.
The TV personality, 43, struggled to hold back the tears as she revealed that her friend Deano was the first boy to ever “break” her heart in an emotional tribute online. Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-five shared a snap of her late pal which she captioned with “RIP” followed by a broken heart emoji.
She then shared a touching message from her bed to her first love alongside a snap of her with tears streaming down her face. The doting mum wrote: “You’ll always be forever in our hearts, so many funny crazy memories we all made together.

“As sad as it was saying goodbye to you today, it was so good to catch up with old friends and reminisce about all the funny crazy s**t we got up to. Always in our hearts.

“What a surreal and sad day, said goodbye today to one of my childhood friends. First boy ever to break my heart ‘Deano’,” she gushed.
The blonde bombshell, who is currently playing the Wicked Queen in the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, added: “Honestly don’t know how the hell I just got through that last show.” She followed up her emotional post with a snap of her putting a brave face on and smiling beside her co-stars.
It’s fair to say the former Atomic Kitten singer has had a rough December after her youngest daughter DJ was rushed to hospital earlier this month. She shared the worrying news on her Instagram as she sat by the nine-year-old’s bedside.

She wrote: “Poor baby girl, second day. Soooo DJ has been really poorly, she had to leave rehearsals and stay in hospital with her…
“But she’s on the mend and hopefully will be home soon.” It comes after Kerry revealed that the youngster had to have an MRI scan after suffering “fainting spells” at home.
The singer said that the family were still awaiting the results but has been told by a doctor that the scan has shown “something.” In her latest OK! Column that the tragic death of TV star Annabel Giles had added to her developing health anxiety.

She then opened up about DJ’s recent health scare. Months earlier, Kerry revealed that DJ had collapsed while they were on holiday in Turkey.
Kerry is also mum to Molly and Lilly-Sue, who she shares with Brian McFadden. She also shares Heidi Elizabeth and Maxwell Mark with her ex-Mark Croft.
