Glitches in The Simpsons you missed – no head, disappearing eyes and clothes change

Beloved cartoon series The Simpsons has been on screens for four decades, so it is to be expected that there have been a few blink-and-you-miss-it mistakes over the years

The Simpsons have been an integral part of TV ever since they burst onto our screens at the end of the 1980s.

Focussing on a dysfunctional family in the fictional town of Springfield, The Simpsons has gone on to become of the longest running shows of all time. As of 2023, the show currently has a total of 34 seasons, encompassing a range of characters and storylines.

But in the midst of the show, a number of glitches in the animated programme have been spotted throughout the years. From missing heads to awkward clothes changes, the show has been caught out several times with noticeable differences between series and even between scenes in an episode.
