EastEnders fans have rushed to share their final predictions ahead of the big Christmas Day reveal.
Earlier this year, BBC One soap bosses aired an episode with a never-done-before flashforward clip which saw Walford matriarchs Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) get together in the Queen Vic for a lock-in before the scene time-jumped to Christmas Day 2023 and there was a dead body of a male character on the floor.
Since the flashforward snippet played out in February, viewers have been sharing their theories online as they try to piece together who could be leaving Albert Square in a bodybag before the end of 2023. Some fans have social to social media to predict that more than one man will be bumped off.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “I think something is also happening with Linda upstairs though, with Dean. I also think Rocky will take the blame to try and make it up to and protect Kathy which is why he leaves.” Another added: “Final prediction for tonight – Linda kills Dean upstairs after he tries to r*pe Gina and Kathy kills Keanu downstairs after he tries to attack Sharon after finding out the truth about Albie not being his son, Rocky will then take the blame for her and exit the show.”
Someone else wrote: “Here’s my #Eastenders #Sixmas theories. Ravi or Keanu will be on the Vic floor. Denise is definitely the killer. Deano will also die. Jack/Rocky will take the blame. Nish will kill Eve. Phil will have no idea wtf is going on.” A fourth social media user posted: “My theory for tonight, Kathy kills Nish and Rocky takes the blame as he’s leaving and it will do it to make things right with Kathy and plus he’s had a problem with Nish so police will probably believe him.”
BBC soap bosses have narrowed down the candidates to die over the festive period. Jack Branning (Scott Masden) has certainly been involved in his share of drama throughout the year and he recently grown closer to Stacey behind wife Denise’s back. Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) has spent most of the year lying and manipulating many of his Walford neighbours. He is responsible for adding to Rocky Cotton’s (Brain Conley) debt problems before he staged a fire at Kathy’s Cafe. He also brutally attacked his wife Suki Kaur Panesar’s lover, Eve Unwin, and ordered her murder.

Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) was the hitman who was supposed to kill Eve, though he spared her by agreeing to let her run away from Walford instead. He’s done his fair share of dirty deeds throughout the past 12 months though, including trying to blackmail Denise over their affair and even selling drugs to Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
Rocky’s mounting lies make him a solid contender to die on Christmas Day, especially as more people discover he tried to stage the Kathy’s Café fire. The cheeky chappy married Kathy Beale even though he wasn’t officially divorced from his ex-wife Jo. His financial debts, too, will cause him to become more desperate as Christmas draws near.

Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angleo) was rumoured to be the dead man months before he even made his surprise return to Walford as Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) new business partner. Dean has waged a war of intimidation against his sister-in-law, Linda, by trying to force her to falsely clear his name after sexually assaulting her years ago.
Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) emerged as a late contender in the last several weeks by working with his mum to secretly kidnap his son Albie and steal £50,000 in ransom money from arch-enemy Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) Phil has since found proof that the Taylors were behind the kidnapping, leading to him calling them out in front of the entire pub in the latest episode. And let’s not forget Sharon will be wearing the infamous wedding dress on Christmas Day. The notorious Walford hardman has another bombshell on the horizon because his ex-wife Sharon recently discovered Albie is Phil’s biological child
