EastEnders fans reckon they’ve figured out what will happen to Nish, after it was confirmed he was not the death in the Christmas Day episode.
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) didn’t get off without a few scratches, as he was hit over the head with a glass bottle by Denise (Diane Parish). However it was Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) who was killed, when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stabbed him to stop him strangling Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Now though, fans reckon violent Nish will get his comeuppance, and the ladies will frame him for Keanu’s murder. Nish’s wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) wanted to leave him to be with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), but Nish had tried to drag her away.

She could get her wish though, as viewers are convinced Nish will be framed for Keanu’s bloody death. One said on social media: “Frame Nish for Keanu’s murder, I double dare you.”
Another agreed: “That would be such a good storyline.” Someone else theorised: “They gonna frame Nish for death of Keanu.”
Another said: “Don’t forget Nish also smacked Ravi earlier. Could make it look like Nish was on a rampage.” One fan added: “Please frame Nish for Keanu’s murder.”
Meanwhile, others believed Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) could have stayed in the Vic and use the incident to blackmail Linda. Others pointed out Nish wouldn’t have a motive to kill Keanu.
Either way, it seems EastEnders in 2024 will be seriously dramatic. Executive producer Chris Clenshaw recently said he was “incredibly pleased” with the reaction to the storyline.
It all started 10 months ago with a flash-forward episode, showing a death and potential suspects, known as The Six. However the identity of the dead body and who killed him was kept a secret.
Chris said: “We’re thrilled with the buzz around The Six. It’s exactly what we hoped for; we hoped people would chat, we hoped people would speculate, we hoped that everyone would come up with their own theories and share those theories with one another. We wanted it to be a storyline that brings the viewers together too, and we’re over the moon that it seems to be doing that and the audience are enjoying being a part of it.”
