Katie Price’s son Harvey makes panto debut as he gets crowd going after ticket price cut

Former glamour model Katie Price was joined by a special guest during a recent performance of her pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, as her eldest son Harvey showcased his skills on stage.

The 45-year-old has been booked and busy this festive season as she made her show debut at Liverpool’s M&S Bank arena earlier this month. Playing the role of wicked fairy Carabosse, Katie has received a rather mixed review from theatre-goers so far.

But just before she took a day off for Christmas, the mother-of-five was given a special yet unexpected treat from her loved ones. Fans were left in awe when Katie’s children Harvey, 21, and her daughter Bunny, nine, made an appearance on the stage in front of a live audience.

Introducing himself to the crowd, Harvey said: “Merry Christmas! Hip hip, hip hip.” Joining in, the audience were quick to respond lovingly and said “hurray!”

Harvey then said: “Welcome to the pantomime ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. If you’re happy and you know it, my favourite,” as he went on to share his favourite part of the famous children’s song.

Expressing his delight, Harvey instantly burst into song. As he did a brief performance on stage, the audience applauded and encouraged him.

Since its debut earlier this month, Sleeping Beauty has received a mixed review and has already had its ticket prices slashed. Organisers said in a post on the panto’s official Facebook page: “Calling all fairy tale fans! Sleeping Beauty has awakened at the M&S Bank Arena, and she’s spinning a magical Christmas adventure for the whole family!

“For a limited time, get 25% off selected shows. Book your tickets now and escape into a world where dreams come true (and curses get broken by true love’s kiss!).”

The news of the price cut comes after some show attendees branded Katie’s performance embarrassing as she was unable to remember her lines. She also reportedly missed certain steps in her dance routine.

Taking to social media, one user criticised: “Maybe, just maybe Katie Price could learn the routines. She was an absolute disgrace. Clear to see how hard the other cast members have worked… very clear she thinks she can rock up making zero effort!!!”

Katie’s co-star Bippo also made a cheeky swipe regarding Katie’s performance. The star revealed she only learned “two of her 25 lines” for the show.
