Ben Ofoedu has revealed his new romance has helped him get over his split from Vanessa Feltz.
The Phats & Small singer has been getting close to reality star Precious Muir just months after the break-up. The pair have struck up such a close bond there is speculation they’ve already become a couple.
And in an exclusive interview, Ben has admitted it’s given him a much-needed boost. He told the Daily Star: “It’s always great to find a good friend to spend time with and talk things through. She has an understanding of the business and the way things go.

“It’s good. It’s nice. We enjoy spending time together. Things are good. I’m happy.” After months of pain, Ben is finally moving on from the 17-year relationship he had with Vanessa.

Talking about his heartache, he said: “You can’t avoid it, you go through it and one day you wake up and it doesn’t hurt as much. There’s no quickfire answer. But one day you won’t hurt as much. I’m finding myself again.”
When Vanessa and Ben split, he was branded a cheat. But he insists fans don’t know the full story.

He said: “Last year was a terrible year for me… because I was judged. I was judged without the full picture. People only saw half of the picture.”
Ben and Vanessa ran into each other at a showbiz bash on Thursday night. The pair both attended a special performance of Back To The Future The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End.

Ben arrived with Precious and they posed for photos and then just minutes later Vanessa arrived. An onlooker said: “When Vanessa was told Ben was there, she looked very unhappy about it and changed direction to avoid going near him.”
He told Mail Online last year how he “spiralled out of control” after his split from Vanessa. He said last year: “I just felt like everything was closing in on me, my whole life and with the trolling and the backlash I received from my split with Vanessa.”
Ben and Vanessa went their separate ways last year, with the TV favourite announcing their split in January.
