The Chase’s Bradley Walsh warns ‘watch it’ as he accuses player of taking his job

The Chase’s Bradley Walsh issued a stern warning to one of his players who he accused of doing his job.

On Tuesday (January 30), the Gladiators presenter welcomed four new contestants into the ITV studio who prepared to take on Jenny Ryan. The team got off to a flying start, with Tony winning £6,000 in the first head-to-head with The Vixen.

Second to take on the chaser was Jolyon, who earned £3,000 in the cash builder round. Wanting to make it back for the final chase, the 34-year-old opted for the lower offer of £1,000.

As the head-to-head kicked off, the former Corrie actor became increasingly irritated as Jolyon began fulfilling one of his roles. On a normal day, Bradley would ask the question and would reveal what answer the contestant has chosen out of the options given.

However, Jolyon took it upon himself to read his answer aloud. The first time it happened, Bradley simply responded: “Oh, OK.” Jolyon, a doctor from Leicester, announced his answer once again and elaborated on why he chose it.

Afterwards, Bradley shared an amused look with the camera as the audience began to laugh. After answering the following question Jolyon did the same thing, saying: “Glamorgan, it’s the only one in Wales so that was my rationale,” causing Bradley to grit his teeth.

As Jolyon made it through to the final chase, Bradley shook his hand but couldn’t help but issue a warning in the process. “You want to watch it, mate,” he said.”

Turning to the camera, Bradley continued: “Coming here… doing my job… telling everyone at home what it is.” Up next was 23-year-old Katie who put on an impressive display in the cash builder round, winning another £5,000.

Watching his co-stars make it through to the final chase meant the pressure was on for David. But he managed to add another £3,000 and took the team’s overall total to £15,000.

In the nail-biting final chase, the four contestants answered 17 questions correct. And luckily it was enough to beat The Vixen as she ran out of time after answering 16 questions.
