Sydney Sweeney looked incredible as she bared her toned midriff in a black lace gown featuring a cut-out panel.
The Euphoria star, 26, has been out promoting her new horror movie Immaculate, and headed to 92NY in New York City for an event called Sydney Sweeney in Conversation with Josh Horowitz. Sydney went braless under the strappy silk number, which left a hint of nipple on display.
The dress then fell into a ruffled black skirt with a sheer panel embroidered with floral lace over her bare tummy. With a pair of sheer black tights, Sydney slipped into a pair of point-toe black stilettos and added glittering rings to her fingers, along with a pair of sparkly silver earrings.

The star didn’t smile for the first few snaps, simply fixing her gaze on the camera while her blonde locks fell in a sleek bobbed style around her shoulders. She swiped on a matte pink lip and just a hint of mascara for her understated look, and later posed alongside MTV presenter Horowitz, who donned a red cardigan and black slacks for the occasion.
In the new movie, Sydney plays Cecilia, a devout nun who moves to an Italian convent. But she soon realises she’s pregnant – assumed to be an immaculate conception – and her new home is overtaken by darkness and mysterious events.
Sydney explained to Variety of her new role: “I love finding places that I didn’t know I could unlock – pushing the boundaries and the limits of what people expect to see from me. I wish that I had a formulaic answer for how I [do] it. Whenever a director calls ‘action’, it’s just like a switch.
“I allow all of Sydney’s thoughts and feelings and emotions to disappear. And I am now whatever character I’m playing – I’m Cecilia at the moment.” The star confessed that the film’s final conclusion was all filmed in a single take, and Sydney “doesn’t like to rehearse” what’s going to happen.
She teased that audiences will “jump in their seats” at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, admitting viewers will “hopefully [be] horrified sh**less, but still care about the story”. Director Michael Mohan, meanwhile, wants viewers to have an “extreme reaction” to the gore, explaining: “I think this horror movie is a popcorn movie first and foremost. It’s a rollercoaster ride, but the ending is f***ing extreme.

“People are going to walk away having an extreme reaction to it and that’s all [Sydney]. She wants to push the envelope but she wants to do it thoughtfully. I know she loves the movies and I’m proud of us for not pulling our punches.”
