Former Emmerdale star Adele Silva has discussed her controversial sex scene on the ITV soap.
The soap siren, 43, played the role of man-eater Kelly Windsor on and off for 19 years between 1993 and 2011. Fans will remember she was at the heart of a string of saucy storylines – and she was just 16 years of age when she shot an intimate scene with someone much older.
The actress famously romped with Ethan Blake, Jimmy King and Rodney Blackstock on the show. She even had an affair with her on-screen stepbrother Scott, played by Ben Freeman.

Now, the actress has lifted the lid on some of the best kept secrets on the long-running show in an interview with The Sun. The soap star lifted the lid on the reality of some of the naughty scenes.

Adele was part of a controversial plot in the 90s that saw Kelly as a schoolgirl have a steamy affair with her teacher Tom Bainbridge. The pair ran off together, before Kelly returned to her family after she caught him in bed with another student.
Looking back on that moment, she recalled: “I had my first sex scene when I was 16. It was on a sofa with my teacher. I wasn’t very experienced in that department, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. It’s not like it is nowadays, with intimacy coordinators.
“But you knew when you were doing a kissing scene there would be no tongues. It wasn’t like a proper kiss. I remember thinking, ‘This is such a big storyline’ and then that was it, something was unleashed in Kelly – she got her taste for the men in the village.”

Kelly left her son Elliot with his dad Jimmy, played by Nick Miles, along with her niece April when she left the soap back in 2011. She went on: “I’d definitely go back if they asked me. Obviously Kelly’s son is there and she’s not seen him for years.
“Then there’s little April. You can imagine Marlon’s face if her auntie Kelly turned up. He’d be horrified.” It’s fair to say Marlon has been through his fair share of struggles since she left the soap in 2011.
Most recently, the doting dad suffered a devastating stroke before his wife Rhona discovered her ex-husband had a child using their embryos with his late wife. The couple have been battling for custody of baby Eve ever since, which has landed her ex-husband Gus a prison sentence.

And it appears as though things are only going to get worse for the couple, with fans concerned they could be heading for a divorce after a difficult two years. ITV soap spoilers have revealed Marlon and Rhona attend a tense dinner party with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) and her controlling husband Tom King (James Chase) in an episode yet to air.
Before long, Tom’s toast about marital solidarity exposes the cracks in Marlon and Rhona’s relationship even further. A row soon erupts between Marlon and Rhona as they address their strained private lives at the table.
Rhona attempts to leave, but a defiant Marlon rejects it, forcing her to seemingly end their marriage in front of everyone. But will they finally call time on their marriage or will they work through their difficulties? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.
